The course has been designed to familiarise students with many different communication options, when using S7 controllers.
Each communication option will be explained and demonstrated, then a total network will then be created by the student.
The student will be able investigate the program and hardware for fault finding.
The student must have attended a Siemens S7 Level 1 and 2 course or Higher or have previous S7 experience.
Objectives
To introduce students to the concepts and operation Siemens S7 Communications options, including the following areas:
- Structuring programs of the S7 program
- Profibus communications
- Ethernet Communications
- Fault finding
- Interbus using S7
- ASI
- Communications to Variabe Speed drives
- Communication to other PLC’s
- HMI networks
